Happy Valentines Day Snuggles!

As I sat in bed this morning, playing on my iPad (that you let me buy, even though we have two ipones, 2 laptops, 2 computers and 2 kindles) – I wondered what I was going to get you for Valentines Day. That’s right…it is the morning of February 14th and I still haven’t picked up (or picked out) your V-Day present! Don’t be mad – I work better under pressure. I have a few ideas in mind, and will shop my heart out until I find the perfect present! In the meantime, I thought I would give you a blog post for Valentines Day. A blog post reminding you of how awesome you are. And how appreciated you are.

My favorite things about you include (not in any particular order)

*You LOVE Bella & Charlie just as much as I do! *

*You model for me when I need to test out photography stuff*

*You don’t mind getting your picture taken – because let’s be serious…that would be a deal-breaker for me!*

You were SO not happy with me during this next session…but you let me take photos of you anyways…even with your grumpy face on!

You let me call you Snuggles. I’m not even sure why I started calling you Snuggles…but now it’s not just Snuggles…it’s Snuggs, Snuggle-up-a-gus…and various other nicknames.

You also let me take photo, after photo, after photo….I don’t normally care what you look like in each photos – as long as I look pretty.

You help out SO much with everything technical. Here is a typical conversation.

Jen: SNUGGLES!!!!!!!! I need you!!!!!!

Chris: What is it this time.

Jen: I can’t figure out how to shrink this PDF

Chris: Okay, I will show you. What you do is you click on File, and then …..

Jen:STOP! Can you just do it for me

Chris: No, I want you to learn

Jen: Please, I’m tired and don’t feel like learning

Chris:Fine.

And then sometimes, I need the true facts….

Jen: Snuggles, will my iPad ever die ? Does everything electronic die ?

Chris: Yes, one day it will die.

Jen: What can i do to prevent it’s death

Chris:Nothing lasts forever.

Jen: So can I get another one when this one dies ?

Chris: leaves the room.

Oh Chris! You are so patient! Possibly the most patient man ever!

Meet Tiara (my wonderful assistant) and her lovely husband Spencer!!! I promised Tiara that I would do a session when things slowed down and tonight was the perfect evening! Can you believe how gorgeous she is ? Not only is she gorgeous, she is super duper talented too! Tiara has been assisting with all of my 2011 weddings, and hopefully all of 2012 ! Anyone that knows me, knows I’ve had a hard time finding the perfect assistant. Not only do they need to know how to take awesome pictures, they need to be completely reliable and trustworthy … two things that are hard to find! Well I feel so so fortunate to have found Tiara ! She is a little bit of everything wrapped into one gorgeous girl! Tiara -Thank you for being you! You always know just what to do & say when I need it the most. Best Assistant Ever !!!

Jen & Rob’s “just because” session at Assiniboine Park!

This week I had a “just because” session with the lovely Jen & Rob at Assiniboine Park! I’ve worked with Jen before – we did a glamour session at St.Boniface Cathedral and her pictures were GORGEOUS! But this session had a whole different feel – she looked beautiful and innocent and you could tell just how much her and Rob were soooo in love !! I’m sure it’s just a matter of time before Rob pops the question (oops, did I say that out loud ?? ) You guys are awesome! I loved working with you and wish you nothing but happiness!
